In Memory of Loren Pope

The college admissions community mourns the loss of Loren Pope, author of the popular books Colleges that Change Lives and Looking Beyond the Ivy League, and advocate for humanizing the college admissions process. His work, along with other movements such as the Education Conservancy and the National Center for Fair and Open Testing, advocate for students and parents to turn their focus away from rankings and towards finding the best fit.
